Summer Stuff for the Ladies.....

Happy summer ladies! I am hopeful that your summer is all you would like it to be. This is just a reminder of some of the stuff coming up in July and August – and that all women are invited to participate. You need NOT be a member of a Circle.
On Saturday, July 10, we will be coming together for breakfast at the Egg & I on 80th and Sheridan. We’ll meet at 9:00 a.m. just to talk… and eat… and …laugh, and catch up on what’s been happening. The cost for you is whatever you order to eat. I hope you’ll mark your calendars and join us for that. We’ll include a reminder in one of the Bulletins too (not that any of us ever forget anything).
· And to the ladies in Circles – if you signed up to bring some of the snacks for Vacation Bible School – remember to have them to the church in time for VBS on July 12.
Another late summer/fall event that all women are invited to attend is our annual daylong retreat. This year we will be holding our retreat at the Loretto Spirituality Center in Littleton on Saturday, August 28. Our own Emma Cabaness will be facilitating the retreat, so if you haven’t gotten to know her yet – here’s a fabulous opportunity to do that! Lunch is included in the day that will begin with us carpooling from WPC. We’ll meet in the parking lot at 8:00 a.m. and share rides to the Center. We’ll have a sign up sheet and announcements in the Bulletin as we get closer to time – but for sure, mark your calendar. Cost for the retreat AND lunch is $10 – don’t you just LOVE bargains??
And then looking ahead even farther – we have our annual Ecumenical Luncheon in October – Saturday the 23rd. I’m tellin’ ya – there’s no end of stuff going on. Wait until you hear what we have planned for that day…but that’s for another Broadcaster. Stay tuned.
